What We Do
Nexamp is an energy and carbon reduction systems integrator. We deliver a broad range of turnkey solutions that reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions for businesses, governments, and homeowners. Our solutions for a business might combine on-site electricity generation from solar photovoltaic panels and a combined heat and power (CHP) system with an aggressive energy efficiency program and the competitive procurement of electricity and natural gas. Solutions for homeowners might combine solar thermal hot water with a geothermal sink.
Nexamp does not offer “one-size-fits-all” solutions. We know that the best strategy for optimizing the value of energy and carbon reduction solutions has to be unique for each client. We are not equipment distributors. Our sole objective is to deploy the most cost-effective solutions for a given situation and client.
Reducing the carbon footprint of any facility has a cost. To be financially sustainable, our solutions must cover that cost and deliver measurable value to our client. This is why Nexamp systematically identifies and captures all potential sources of cash savings from energy usage reductions; competitive energy procurement; energy demand response payments; carbon credits or offsets; and renewable energy certificates. We combine all these savings to finance new energy and carbon-reduction investments.
We are involved with our clients from initial assessment to final construction. Beginning with site analysis, we chart the potential for reducing energy use and the carbon footprint. We then build a business case factoring in all available financial incentives. When necessary, we enter into long-term power purchase agreements with business and government clients who do not wish to expend capital to install distributed generation equipment. Finally, we design, permit, construct, and maintain each client’s solution throughout its lifecycle.
