Where We Started
Nexamp is headquartered in Somerville, Massachusetts. Our main administrative and engineering offices and our main logistics center are located in North Andover, Massachusetts.
In December 2007, Nexamp purchased NexGen Energy Solutions LLC, a renewable energy integration company with an extensive presence in eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. NexGen Energy Solutions was founded by Dan Leary, a former U.S. Army Captain, who was soon joined by another U.S. Army Captain, Will Thompson, and several other U.S. Army and Air Force Veterans.
Nexamp is backed by a group of investors with extensive experience in energy. This group is led by Henri-Claude Bailly, the former CEO of Hagler Bailly, a leading international energy and environmental consulting firm, which was acquired in 2000 by PA Consulting Group of Great Britain.
