Headquartered in North Andover, MA, Nexamp was established in 2006, co-founded by friends and former U.S. Army Captains Daniel Leary and Dwight W. Thompson.
Since that time, Nexamp has established itself as a market leader in delivering turnkey solar power solutions. Nexamp is backed by a group of investors with extensive energy experience. They include Point Judith Capital – a venture capital firm focused on Internet software and services, healthcare technology, and clean technology industries – and RCG Ventures, a clean energy investment firm.

Acquired SolVera Energy, LLC – John Malloy and Patrick Daly joined as CEO and CFO; Closed 4.5 MW Westford Solar Park – largest privately owned solar project in New England.
