United Teen Equality Center Announces Completion of Solar Installation
As part of deep energy retrofit, Nexamp installs 33-kW system at historic Lowell site
LOWELL, MA (June 16, 2010) – The United Teen Equality Center (UTEC) announced today the completion of a 33-kilowatt (kW) solar photovoltaic (PV) installation at its offices in historic downtown Lowell. The array, designed and installed by Nexamp—a leading clean energy solutions company— was completed as part of a deep energy retrofit.
As part of a power purchase agreement, Nexamp will own and operate the system and provide the electricity to UTEC at a fixed rate for a period of 25 years to dramatically reduce the Center’s electricity costs. The project also received a state renewable energy grant that provided valuable supplemental financing.

Wire Belt Unveils Largest Solar Array in NH
99.3-kilowatt system, installed by Nexamp, generates 20% of Wire Belt’s electric needs
LONDONDERRY, NH (May 11, 2010) – Wire Belt Company of America brings energy conservation to great heights, recently installing a 99.3-kilowatt roof-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) system that is the largest solar array in New Hampshire. The new PV system, installed by Nexamp of North Andover, MA, will offset approximately 20% of total electricity consumed each year at Wire Belt. It is comprised of 473 rooftop PV panels covering 3,784 ft².

SunSetter Products Harnesses Solar Power to Make Retractable Awnings
Solar photovoltaic panels, energy-efficient lighting installed by Nexamp to dramatically reduce SunSetter’s energy costs
MALDEN, MA (March 23, 2010) – SunSetter Products, the largest manufacturer of retractable residential awnings in the US, announced today that it recently completed extensive renewable energy and energy efficiency improvements in its 64,000 square foot facility. The improvements include upgrading to energy-efficient lighting fixtures and the installation of two solar photovoltaic systems on its roof.
Nexamp, Inc., a North Andover, MA-based clean energy company that delivers a broad range of turnkey solutions to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions for businesses, governments, and homeowners, was selected by SunSetter as the advisor and general contractor for this project.

Nexamp Secures $6.5 Million in Venture Financing from Leading Renewable Energy and IT Investors
Series A financing from Good Energies, Point Judith Capital, and RCG Ventures supports growth of successful clean energy solutions company and brings new CEO
NORTH ANDOVER, MA (February 9, 2010) – Award-winning clean energy solutions company Nexamp today announced that it has secured $6.5 million in Series A venture financing from Good Energies, one of the world’s leading private investors in renewable energy and enabling technologies; Point Judith Capital, an early stage venture capital firm focused on information technology businesses; RCG Ventures, an early stage clean energy investment firm; and individual investors. This financing will enable Nexamp to further expand its clean energy solution offerings and its presence nationwide. As part of the financing, Nexamp also announced the addition of a new CEO, Stuart R. Patterson, to succeed Henri-Claude Bailly of RCG Ventures, who remains Chairman of the Board.

Patrick-Murray Administration Announces Award of Largest-Ever State Contract for Installation of Solar Power
Contracts for over 4 megawatts of federal stimulus-funded solar power at water and wastewater treatment plants go to team of North Andover and Taunton firms
NORTH ANDOVER – Friday, February 5, 2010 – As part of the Patrick-Murray Administration’s Massachusetts Recovery Plan, Governor Deval Patrick today announced the award of federal stimulus-funded contracts to install 4.1 megawatts (MW) of solar energy at 12 public water and wastewater treatment facilities throughout the Commonwealth. These projects will help to reduce energy bills and greenhouse gas impacts while creating jobs and growing the state's solar industry. The 12 contracts represent the state's largest-ever award for solar installation at public facilities.
Worth approximately $20 million in ARRA funding, the projects announced today are expected to be complete between June 2010 and July 2011. They include municipal and regional facilities in Ashland, Hyannis, Chelmsford, Easton, Fairhaven, Falmouth, Holden, Marlborough, Blackstone/Millbury, East Freetown, Pittsfield and Townsend.
