David Martirano is the Managing Partner of PJC. David has extensive experience investing broadly in Internet, Software, and Tech Enabled Service companies. In 2001, David partnered with Governor Gina Raimondo, and together they founded Point Judith Capital, which was officially rebranded as PJC. He is currently involved with investments in Opengear, AetherPal, Evergage, Expensify, FSAStore, Nexamp, Appcast, InviteManager, Feather, Thunkable and was previously involved with Optasite (acquired by SBA Communications NASDAQ: SBAC), Fidelis Security Systems (acquired by General Dynamics NYSE: GD), and GetWellNetwork (acquired by Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe).
Prior to Point Judith, David co-founded Rex Capital Ventures with Dave Mixer. While at Rex Capital, David led Rex’s investments in Yandex (NASDAQ: YNDX), and SnapGear which was sold to CyberGuard (NASDAQ: CGFW).
David received a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island. David sits on the Board of Trustees at the University of Rhode Island and the Investment Committee of Lifespan and has been actively involved with Year Up Rhode Island.
