One of our larger solar farms, producing 7 MW of clean energy from its 17,420 solar panels, Clark Road Solar 1 + Storage is also one of the first to feature co-located energy storage technology. More than 1,000 residents will be able to subscribe to this project and enjoy the opportunity to save money on their annual electric costs while supporting the growth of clean energy in the region.

The project also features a 3,300 kW/ 6,600 kWh DC-coupled, lithium-ion battery energy storage system paired with the 7,055 kW DC solar array that maximizes solar output and performs essential grid services. By storing the solar energy produced during the middle of the day, Nexamp can discharge the battery during peak periods later in the day when energy costs are highest, increasing the environmental and economic benefits of the energy.
