Located on the grounds of the Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Kisco, NY, this solar farm is the first project for Nexamp in the Con Edison utility territory. Boasting approximately 3,500 ground-mounted solar panels and a co-located energy storage system, this site produces 1.3 MW of clean solar power to help area subscribers reduce their monthly electric bills while adding a new source of renewable energy to the local grid.

The project features a 1,026 kW/ 4,104 kWh AC-coupled, lithium-ion battery energy storage system paired with the 1,383 kW DC solar array. By storing the solar energy produced during the middle of the day, Nexamp can discharge the battery during peak periods later in the day when energy costs are highest, increasing the environmental and economic benefits of the energy.
