The Granby Solar + Storage project is made up of a mix of fixed tilt and tracker panels across two co-located arrays on the property. A total of nearly 13,000 solar panels generate 4.7 MW of clean energy and an on-site energy storage system makes the project more efficient. Developed on a small portion of a larger farming parcel, the project provides clean energy for the local power grid.

The project also features a 2,000 kW/ 4,054 kWh DC-coupled, lithium-ion battery energy storage system paired with the 4,755 kW DC solar array that maximizes solar output and performs essential grid services. By storing the solar energy produced during the middle of the day, Nexamp can discharge the battery during peak periods later in the day when energy costs are highest, increasing the environmental and economic benefits of the energy.
