Before he passed away earlier this year, Dom DiMaggio was excited at the possibility of installing solar panels to power the manufacturing company he founded. Earlier this month, that project was completed without him. Delaware Valley Corp., a Lawrence, Mass., specialty felt and fabric manufacturer founded in 1953 by the Red Sox great, recently wrapped up a 103 kilowatt solar array at its Tewksbury manufacturing facility that will power about 10 percent of the plant’s operations.
