Monica Jimenez, November 29, 2010. CHELMSFORD—Chelmsford residents, raise your drinking glasses to the new energy supplier who could be bringing you your water as early as this week. This newcomer, who’s signed on to power the pipelines of the Chelmsford Water District, also happens to be the older than the Earth.

The Chelmsford Water District will soon be the proud owner and operator of Massachusetts’ largest groundwater solar array.
