Kyle Alspach, August 18, 2010. A nearly 500-kilowatt solar energy project in Chelmsford, called the largest ground-mounted solar array in Massachusetts, has reached completion.

The array was designed and installed by Nexamp Inc., a renewable energy and energy efficiency firm in North Andover, and funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, through the State Revolving Fund administered by the Mass. Department of Environmental Protection. It’s located at the Chelmsford Crooked Spring Water Treatment Facility and will provide approximately half of the power for the facility, according to Nexamp. Link to Article
