Nexamp today announced the promotion of Chris Perron to Chief Infrastructure Deployment Officer, a newly expanded leadership role that reflects the company's continued focus on bringing clean energy resources to the grid faster and more efficiently.

In this role, Perron will lead Nexamp’s integrated infrastructure and deployment platform across engineering, grid integration, operations, supply chain, and construction, helping the company bring projects online efficiently and at scale.

As electricity demand accelerates and affordability pressures mount, the energy industry is facing a defining moment. Faster, more disciplined deployment of new infrastructure has become imperative, and solar and energy storage remain among the fastest, most cost-effective resources available to add new capacity to the grid. As a member of the executive leadership team, Perron will help Nexamp continue strengthening the operating model, execution discipline, and cross-functional coordination needed to convert pipeline projects into high-performing operating assets and deliver lasting value for communities while supporting a more flexible, resilient, and affordable energy system

Perron first joined Nexamp in 2010 and currently leads the company’s integrated deployment platform, providing the strategic vision and leadership needed to drive operational execution across the organization.

“From the earliest days, Chris has played a critical role in strengthening how we deliver projects and scale our infrastructure platform,” said Nexamp CEO Zaid Ashai. “This promotion recognizes his leadership and the impact he continues to have on the systems, teams, and partnerships that help us execute with excellence as we grow and expand access to affordable clean energy.”

A U.S. Army veteran, Perron brings decades of experience leading teams and managing complex operations in both the military and private sector. Before joining Nexamp, he held multiple management positions in Home Depot’s corporate headquarters and field operations group. He also served for more than 21 years as an Army infantry and combat engineer officer before retiring in 2018.

Perron earned a Bachelor of Science in economics and systems engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

“This role is about making sure Nexamp has the operational discipline, systems, and alignment to deliver projects efficiently from development through energization,” said Perron. “By continuing to improve how we plan, build, and hand off projects, we can strengthen performance, support growth across solar and storage, and deliver more affordable clean energy to the customers and communities we serve.”
