I am honored and humbled to have been selected to join SEIA’s Board of Directors for the 2018/2019 term. I greatly appreciate the immense growth of solar energy in our nation since I first started my career in the clean energy space over a decade ago. This success wouldn’t be possible without forward-thinking policy, innovative technologies, and support from national advocacy groups, all of which continue to propel the clean energy industry forward. Organizations like SEIA, NECEC, CCSA, among many others, provide the education, resources, and support necessary for cohesive advancement within the solar space.
When the opportunity arose to run for SEIA’s Board of Directors, I jumped at the chance to represent an organization so central and integral to the future success and prosperity of solar in our nation. Nexamp has been an active member of SEIA since 2012 and we’ve seen the incredible value the organization delivers to its members and to the industry collectively. SEIA has long been at the forefront of shaping the policy and regulatory frameworks necessary for continued innovation within the solar industry. As a national advocacy organization, SEIA plays a key role in merging the various ecosystems and stakeholders into a unified voice for building momentum for solar energy.
I am pleased to join my fellow board members, collaborating with energy leaders, to ensure the continued momentum of SEIA’s mission. I believe my unique perspective on the solar industry, from the standpoint of both an entrepreneur and investor, will allow me to effectively represent SEIA and advocate for forward-thinking policy outcomes that will drive the success of a competitive and sustainable solar energy ecosystem.
