One of three adjoining projects in Spencerport, NY, this solar farm produces 6.4 MW from nearly 17,000 solar panels mounted on single-axis tracker racks following the sun throughout the day. Sending clean energy out to the Rochester Gas & Electric grid, the project produces enough energy credit to offset the needs of approximately 700 average homes in the area.

The solar farm is built on already cleared land and brought jobs and revenue to the area through construction and ongoing maintenance. Anyone who gets power from RG&E can subscribe to this farm and save up to 10% on their electric bills.
