Nestled in the southwest tip of Illinois, not far from the Missouri border, Alexander Sun is a 7.2 Megawatt community solar farm that features more than 13,000 made-in-America solar panels with a tracker mounting system to follow the sun throughout the day. It generates clean solar energy that will be fed directly to the Ameren grid. Available to any resident who gets electricity from Ameren, this solar farm will serve more than 1,000 subscribers and make it possible for them to realize savings on their annual electricity supply costs.
