Made up of 4,200 solar panels that track the sun, Bigelow Road Solar + Storage can serve over 100 subscribers through Nexamp's Community Solar program. This site is also equipped with a 0.5 MW / 1.0 MWh battery energy storage system, which enables the state of Massachusetts to receive renewable generation during times of high electricity demand. The project delivers power through the Massachusetts SMART program, but also participates in the Massachusetts Clean Peak Program, as well as ISO-NE wholesale capacity and ancillary service markets.
