Burke Solar is a 5.8 MW community solar farm in the NYSEG utility territory. It is situated on a previously cleared field just off Route 11 in Burke, NY, and features 10,920 bi-facial solar modules attached to a tracker mounting system. Capable of offsetting the electricity needs of nearly 1,000 average homes, it enables area residents to save money and brings a new source of clean energy to the local grid.
