A little more than 5,000 bifacial solar modules enable the Conger Solar project to produce 3 Megawatts of renewable energy in Pecatonica Township, roughly 10 miles west of Rockford in Illinois. Utilizing a tracker mounting system, the modules follow the sun throughout the day for maximum efficiency. Area residents who get their electricity from ComEd can enroll in the Nexamp community solar program and save up to 15% on their annual electric costs with no up-front fees and no equipment to install.
