The Downeast coast of Maine is home to Cutler Solar, a 2.6 MW community solar farm with almost 5,000 individual solar modules situated not far from the Cutler Regional Airport. Residents who get their electricity from Versant can enroll in the Nexamp Community Solar program to save money on their annual electric bill and help promote more renewable energy on the area grid. This project is capable of meeting the energy needs of several hundred average households.
