DER Oakwood Solar + Storage is Nexamp's first project in New York's Con Edison utility territory. Boasting approximately 3,500 ground-mounted solar panels and a co-located energy storage system, the site produces 1.3 megawatts of solar power annually. The 1,026 kW/ 4,104 kWh AC-coupled, lithium-ion battery energy storage system pairs with the solar array to enable Nexamp to store energy and discharge the battery during peak periods later in the day when energy costs are highest, increasing the environmental and economic benefits of solar energy.
