The town of Eden in Erie County, New York, is home to Eden Solar, a 5.2 Megawatt solar farm serving residences in the National Grid utility territory. Part of the Nexamp community solar program, this project sends clean energy to the local grid and enables area residents to save money on their electric expenses by enrolling in the program. Eden Solar features more nearly 9,000 American-made solar modules and a tracker mounting system, offsetting the energy usage of roughly 800 average households.
