Along Felts Brook in Brewer, Maine, just across the Penobscot River from Bangor, Felts Brook Solar is a 2.6 megawatt community solar farm containing 4,416 bifacial solar modules on a tracker mounting system. It feeds renewable energy to the Versant grid and can offset the annual power needs of several hundred area residents. Those who choose to subscribe through the Nexamp community solar program will save on their annual electricity expenses with no equipment to install and no enrollment fees.
