On the outskirts of Elba, New York, FFP NY Elba Project 1 generates renewable solar power for the National Grid service territory, helping area residents save money on their annual electric bills through the Nexamp Community Solar program. It is a 7.2 MW solar farm with more than 12,000 solar modules mounted to a tracker system. The power generated can meet the needs of approximately 1,000 typical households.
