Situated on an unused parcel of farmland in Burlington, IL, French Road Solar is a 2.8-megawatt project that features 7,176 solar panels mounted to a tracker system that follows the sun throughout the day, maximizing efficiency. The project can serve nearly 400 subscribers in ComEd's service territory through Nexamp's Community Solar program. Through the program, subscribers can save annually on their electric costs while supporting clean, renewable energy.
