Glen Solar 1 lies just south of the NY State Thruway and the Erie Canal Trail outside of Fultonville, New York. It occupies roughly 20 acres and boasts 6.2 Megawatts of generating capacity from 10,440 solar modules, sending power to the National Grid utility territory. Area residents who enroll in the Nexamp community solar program are able to save money on their annual electric costs while supporting the expansion of clean energy in the region. The project can support nearly 1,000 average households and participants don’t have to worry about installing any equipment or paying any enrollment fees.
