National Grid customers in New York can subscribe to the Jaycox Creek Solar project in Geneseo at the western end of the Finger Lakes, leveraging the Nexamp community solar program to save 10% on their annual electricity costs. This project, which has more than 11,000 domestically-manufactured solar modules mounted to trackers that follow the sun all day, generates 6.6 MW of clean, renewable energy that is sent to the area grid. It is capable of offsetting the electricity needs of roughly 1,000 average households.
