Kewanee Renewables is a 6.6 Megawatt project located in the Ameren service territory in central Illinois. The project features more than 11,000 U.S.-made solar panels on a tracker mounting system that follows the sun throughout the day and generates clean energy to send to the local power grid. This project can offset the needs of nearly 1,000 average households and make it possible for subscribers to save money on their annual electric costs through Nexamp Community Solar, while adding a new source of clean, renewable power to the area grid.
