Leesburg Solar is a 1.14 MW greenfield solar facility located in the town of Leesburg in Lee County, Georgia. A long-term lease agreement made the building of the project possible and provides a source of steady income for the local landowner.

This project generates energy that is fed directly to the local electrical grid and is part of a statewide program authorized by the Georgia Public Service Commission to support renewable development in Georgia. We are pleased to construct this project and advance solar development in the state as part of Georgia Power’s Renewable Energy Development Initiative (REDI) for its Customer-Sited Distributed Generation program. Nexamp, in cooperation with its development partner Radiance Solar, developed the project in the local community.
