Maybrook Solar 1 is one of two co-located projects in Montgomery, New York. Situated in the industrial outskirts of this town just west of the Hudson River, each of the two 4 Megawatt solar farm features nearly 7,000 American-made solar panels. Sending clean energy out to the Central Hudson Gas & Electric grid, each project produces enough energy credit to offset the needs of approximately 600 average homes in the area. The solar farms brought jobs and revenue to the area through construction and ongoing maintenance. Anyone who gets power from CHG&E in the state can subscribe to this farm and save up to 10% on their electric bills.
