The village of Ballston Spa in Saratoga County, New York, is home to two co-located Nexamp solar farms, Middleline West and Middleline East. Both feed energy into the National Grid electric grid and both are part of the Nexamp community solar portfolio. Each of the projects occupies approximately 30 acres and adds important sources of renewable energy to the local grid. Middleline West generates 6.5 Megawatts of energy from more than 11,000 solar modules, offsetting the energy usage of roughly 1,000 average households.
