The town of Moseley in south central Virginia is home to Moseley Hermon Solar, a 5 Megawatt community solar farm capable of offsetting the electricity needs of more than 700 average households. Featuring 8,592 made-in-America solar modules and a modern tracking system that follows the sun throughout the day, this project sends clean energy directly to the Dominion Energy grid and exclusively serves to low and moderate income participants in the region. Residents enroll in the Nexamp Community Solar program and receive discounted credits to reduce their annual electric expenses.
