One of Nexamp’s northern-most projects, Pembroke Solar is just off Route 1 in Pembroke, Maine, not far from the Canadian border. This 4.4 Megawatt project boasts more than 8,000 modules and a tracker mounting system that follows the sun throughout the day for maximum solar production. It generates energy that is fed to the Versant grid, enabling area residents to subscribe and save on their annual electric expenses without having to purchase or install any equipment, making it ideal for those who are unable to install rooftop solar for any reason.
