Located west of Interstate 57 in Peotone, Ill., Peotone Solar is a 2.9 Megawatt community solar project utilizing just over 5,000 made-in-America solar modules and a tracker mounting system to generate energy for the ComEd grid. It is capable of offsetting the energy needs of approximately 400 average households. Subscribers will save on their annual electric expenses while supporting the growth of renewable energy on the grid.
