For Maine residents who get their power from CMP, Richmond Renewables provides an opportunity to enroll in the Nexamp community solar program and save money on monthly electricity bills. Located on 7 acres just west of the Kennebec River on the outskirts of Richmond, this project generates 1.4 Megawatts from 2,400 American-made bifacial solar modules on a tracker mounting system that maximizes productivity throughout the day. It generates enough renewable energy to meet the needs of about 150 average area households.
