North of the town center of Acushnet in southeastern Massachusetts is Robinson Road Solar, a 1.6 Megawatt community solar farm capable of generating enough energy to offset the needs of roughly 100 average households. With almost 3,000 solar modules mounted to a fixed-tilt rack, this project enables renters, homeowners, and others in the Eversource service territory to enroll in the Nexamp program and save on their annual electricity costs without having to install any equipment or make any long-term commitments.
