Schuyler Sun is a community solar farm on about 20 acres of previously cleared farmland just outside Browning along the Illinois River. With almost 7,500 made-in-America solar modules on a tracker mounting system, the facility produces 4.6 Megawatts and can offset the needs of approximately 600 average households. It feeds energy directly to the Ameren grid and enables area residents to enroll in the Nexamp community solar program to enjoy savings with no enrollment fees or long-term commitment.
