Silverrod Solar is a 2.5 MW community solar farm in Hampden, Maine with 4,268 solar modules producing power for the local Versant grid. It is located on land that was already cleared and sits just off Route 202 west of town. Area residents can participate in the savings through Nexamp community solar, while the Versant grid gets an additional source of renewable energy.
