Located in Somonauk, IL, in ComEd's service territory, Somonauk Road Solar is a 2.7-megawatt project that will generate clean energy for the local ComEd power grid. Consisting of over 7,000 tracker solar panels that follow the sun, this project will serve approximately 350 homes, making it possible for subscribers to save money on their annual electric costs through Nexamp's Community Solar program while supporting clean, renewable power.
