Nearly 3,000 solar panels are generating just over 1 MW of clean solar power to help approximately 120 subscribers reduce their electric costs as well as their environmental impact. This project also features a co-locate energy storage system for more efficient operation in the National Grid service territory.

The project also features a 500 kW/ 1,014 kWh DC-coupled, lithium-ion battery energy storage system paired with the 1,039 kW DC solar array that maximizes solar output and performs essential grid services. By storing the solar energy produced during the middle of the day, Nexamp can discharge the battery during peak periods later in the day when energy costs are highest, increasing the environmental and economic benefits of the energy.
