Built on a parcel of land just off of Lockport Road in Wheatfield, NY, Wheatfield Solar is a 6.3-megawatt project that features 15,548 solar panels and generates clean energy to feed into the local utility grid. This project will serve nearly 1,000 local residents who get their power from National Grid. Through Nexamp's Community Solar program, subscribers will receive community solar credits on their National Grid bill that will help them save on their annual electricity costs while supporting a source of clean, renewable power.
