National decarbonization leader also promotes other senior leaders as it expands clean energy generation and consumer solutions

Nexamp is taking another bold step in its mission to accelerate the deployment of renewables and make clean energy simple and accessible to all with the promotion of several senior team members. John Murphy has been named Chief Strategy Officer, where he will be responsible for the advancement of Nexamp’s strategic growth initiatives, targeted market expansion efforts, and long-term product evolution. The company has simultaneously announced several additional promotions in its Generation and Consumer teams to capitalize on growth opportunities and deliver a superior customer experience.

“John has been a driving force at Nexamp from the early days, playing a key role in our organization’s evolution while overseeing pivotal expansion initiatives,” explained Nexamp CEO Zaid Ashai. “His commitment and deep market insight will continue to guide us along our exciting growth path ahead.”

With Murphy’s promotion, other members of the team will also assume new roles, aimed to expand Nexamp’s channel partner network and complement the company’s distinguished organic development capabilities. Jackie Chambers has been appointed Vice President of Channel Origination, Jennifer Delaney has been promoted to Vice President of Channel Operations, and Ethan Gyles will serve as Vice President of Channel Diligence. The restructuring, along with the previously announced launch of Nexamp’s Developer Accelerator Program, reinforces the team’s commitment to its established acquisition efforts and to further building out its network of talented developer partners.

“It’s a tremendous privilege to work on a team with such a high caliber of talent and mission alignment, and I’ve never been more encouraged about the potential ahead for both Nexamp and our industry,” says Murphy. “While there is no easy path to a clean energy future, Nexamp is resolved to help lead the transition to a renewable energy grid and deliver real decarbonization solutions on behalf of our customers with the mix of sound strategy, urgency, and imagination that this moment demands.”

Since joining Nexamp in 2009, Murphy has held a variety of roles across the organization, including in market development, energy sales, asset management, and project finance. He was responsible for the internal development and launch of Nexamp’s industry-leading Community Solar program. Currently, he oversees multiple core corporate initiatives including M&A, project acquisition and regulatory engagement and strategy across the company’s active project development markets. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Solar Energy Industries Association.

On the Customer Management team, Erik Molinaro has been elevated to Senior Vice President of Customer Experience and Operations, where he will focus on providing world-class support and expanding customer growth through enhanced communication and service. Nexamp has more than 350 employees today and serves nearly 50,000 customers nationally, providing a full range of community solar, utility scale solar, energy storage, and decarbonization services.
